This cross curricular Agriculture, Technology Education and Science course will create a student understanding of ecology, the environment and engineering through critical thinking and experiential learning activities. Science and Math concepts will be applied to problem solving involving technology, engineering and agriculture. An agriculture connection to the sustainable use of natural resources will be made through laboratory experiences and research activities. Students will study applied science topics such as biomes, land use, water quality, stewardship, and environmental agencies and will examine their own perceptions of the environment throughout the CASE™ EEE curriculum. Students will apply problem solving and critical thinking skills using CAD software, CNC manufacturing equipment and engineering principles. There will be daily connections made regarding career opportunities in the Ecology, Environment and Engineering fields with a focus on employability skills.
